Explore our community programs.
Through our space in City Heights, we provide a variety of valuable programs. Together, they nurture innovation, celebrate diversity, build cross-cultural understanding and develop neighborhood self-sufficiency.
We are a social enterprise serving City Heights & San Diego County.
Run by the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC), a non-profit organization in San Diego, our space serves the local community through an affordable café, a place to host events, emergency food distribution, a resource center and more. Through The Neighborhood Café and Print Shop, a diverse group of youth – primarily refugees and immigrants – runs businesses together.
With compassion and a passion for mentorship, the NEC staff brings a sense of belonging to the young employees in our program, as well as real-world job skills.
